Camagüey, Cuba, April 18th.- As part of the government visit to this province, Maritza Cruz García, vice minister of Finance and Prices, toured different places in the sector in the capital of Camagüey.
The journey began with an exchange with authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Government, directors of entities and the Finance and Prices group in the territory, where different issues were discussed.
At the meeting he called to transform the work system, to make more efforts to maintain the surplus, to organize processes in advance, to be more preventive and to know daily the money that is missing and who is going to carry it.
Likewise, he insisted that it is not possible to have accounts payable late because of what it implies for the development of the municipality. He called for correcting distortions in the wholesale cost sheets and controlling food production to lower high prices.
At the Directorate of Labor and Social Security, Cruz García inquired about the use of the budget, attention to vulnerable people, the work of social workers and said that «you cannot fail to execute what is planned or spend more than expected».
In his dialogue with Public Health workers, he was interested in the use of the allocated money, the behavior of the workforce, the accounts to be amortized, and called for good arrangements for payment to the new forms of non-state management.
He also visited the Clodomira Acosta Maternity Home where he spoke with workers and pregnant women, who said they felt good with the food and care they receive there.

The tour of the Vice Minister of Finance and Prices through the princely city concluded at the Office of Control and Collection of Fines of the Joaquín de Agüero District, there she invited them to work more for what constitutes these incomes to the State budget.
