Camagüey, Cuba, April 16th.- On the 63rd anniversary of the proclamation of the socialist character of the Cuban Revolution, the Day of the Militia and the founding of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the member of the Central Committee of the PCC and its first secretary In the province of Camagüey, Federico Hernández Hernández, urged the militancy to defend the nation from a vanguard position.

He insisted on the need for the party membership to be better, more combative and energetic, capable of confronting what has been done wrong and demanding that what is established be fulfilled to guarantee unity and advance in the current conditions.

It constitutes a very high responsibility, he pointed out, to ensure that the Revolution is always eternal with the cohesion of the people to overcome obstacles and consolidate the immense social project that we built.

He recalled that the PCC as heir to the Cuban Revolutionary Party, founded by José Martí, has led with sufficient experience in complex and difficult conditions, with an extraordinary mobilizing capacity to make the dreams of Cuban men and women come true.

Cadres and workers from the headquarters of the Provincial Committee of the PCC and its offices have dedicated themselves to this endeavor, who deserved special recognition during the tribute ceremony, for accumulating up to 40 years of uninterrupted work and being examples of morality, commitment and humility.

More than 10 graduates of the Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Cándido González Morales faculty, belonging to the PCC Antonio Ñico López University, also received their graduate diplomas.

On behalf of this new class, Antonio Ariel Ramos Méndez, a comprehensive student and honorary graduate for his teaching results, emphasized the strategic task that from now on they will assume to apply political science in the solution of different problems and thus defend the role of the PCC as a leading force of society and the State.

Likewise, he reaffirmed the will to provide the cadres of the territories with effective tools that allow them to enhance the ideological firmness of the people and successfully develop the economic battle.
