Camagüey, Cuba, March 22th.- In its second meeting this month, the Municipal Administration Council analyzed in depth the current state of voters’ approaches in the accountability processes.

When presenting the report on the matter, Yanixis Carrazana Carballo, secretary of that Body, stated that during the 17th and 18th terms of office, more than 6,400 concerns have been resolved, a figure that represents almost 60 percent of the total.

Currently, more than 4,800 complaints from voters remain to be resolved, the largest number of them correspond to Communal Services, the Electric Company, Housing, Aqueduct and Sanitation, Commerce, Health and Transportation.

These dissatisfactions are related to the repair of roads, increase in lighting and elimination of clotheslines, rehabilitation of hydraulic networks, maintenance and waterproofing of buildings and quarters, repair of warehouses and restoration and creation of new bus routes.

When intervening on the issue, Jorge Sutil Sarabia, governor of the province, called on the members of the Administration Council and directors of entities to be more agile and do with what they have to increasingly improve the basic services of the population.
