Arambula Public Alarife Award presented in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, February 3th.- María Isabel Carmenates Bringas, deputy director of Master Plan and Management of the Office of the City Historian (OHCC), received the Fulgencio Arambula Public Alarife Award, recognition given to people and institutions that stand out in the safeguarding local heritage.

As part of the XVI International Symposium on Challenges in the Management and Management of Cities, which met between February 1 and 2 at the Santa Cecilia Convention Center, the OHCC’s XXV Anniversary Commemorative Medal was awarded to Nilson Acosta Reyes, vice president of the National Council of Cultural Heritage of Cuba.

A letter of intent was also signed between the Indo-American University of Quito, Ecuador, and the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey, an event that opens many opportunities for improvement and exchange of knowledge between both institutions.
