Camagüey celebrates provincial event for the anniversary of the Central Workers of Cuba

Camagüey, Cuba, January 26th.- The Plaza del Himno Invasor, in the capital of the Camagüey municipality of Najasa, hosted today the provincial event for the 85th anniversary of the creation of the Central Workers of Cuba (CTC), an organization that will years on January 28th.

In this context and in tribute to the National Hero José Martí, several prominent workers received the card of the Communist Party of Cuba, while at the proposal of the provincial and national unions the Rafael María de Mendive, Armando Mestre, Marcos Martí and Fernando distinctions were awarded. Chenard Piña, laurels that dignify the working class.

The provincial secretariat of the CTC also recognized labor leaders with an outstanding career, with certificates for their five, 10, 15 and 20 years of uninterrupted work in the organization.

During the event, several organizations and entities were honored for their contribution to the development of the union movement in Najasa and the promotion of tasks of economic impact.

On behalf of the new generations, the young Osmany Fernández Paz, from the Education, Science and Sports Workers Union, ratified the commitment of the proletariat to continue defying adversity and comply with the word of order to maintain unbreakable unity and collective thought.
