Central Workers of Cuba recognize the dedication of labor heroes in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 8th.- As part of the activities organized by the Central Workers of Cuba (CTC, Spanish Acronym) in Camagüey for the 85th anniversary of its creation and the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, the provincial committee of the organization met with the five heroes of the work that the territory has.

Jaime Smith Pride, Alberto Torrens Sifonte, René Guerra Huerta, Alberto Soler Omares and José Pardo Nápoles had a different day this Thursday, the organizers took them to tour the Railway Museum and learn about the local history of which they are an indisputable part.

As detailed by Isnaldo Castellano Osoria, member of the secretariat of the Provincial Committee, the union leadership tries to meet with these outstanding workers every year «to continue thanking them for their dedication and update them on the tasks we accomplish».

The labor leader pointed out that workers who, due to their qualities and conditions, may be elected Heroes of Labor in the coming years, were also invited to this event.

José Antonio Pérez Pérez, member of the national secretariat of the CTC, via telephone congratulated the heroes of Camagüey on the new year and asked them to continue, with their example, influencing the new generations.
