Camagüey tribute to Fidel Castro

Camagüey, Cuba, November 25th.- Since the early hours of this November 25th, authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba and the Government in the territory, leaders and the people of Camagüey went to the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz to pay tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the physical departure of the eternal young rebel, there was no shortage of flowers and greetings in the Jimaguayú Hall, the place where the ashes of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution rested during the stop in this city of the caravan to Santiago de Cuba.

Federico Hernández Hernández, first secretary of the Party in the province, commented that Fidel’s example remains the main guide for revolutionaries in these difficult times and his legacy remains permanently in the people.

«The most important thing are his ideas, his thoughts, his conviction that it is possible and today we, the present generations, overcome obstacles in food production, in confronting prices, in energy development with that premise of saving, in facing crime and conduct not compatible with the political system and in building that prosperous, democratic, free and independent socialism that is very marked by the social well-being and joy of the people».

Among the grateful people who attended this Saturday were several young people, Maraidi Guerra and Araselys Tamayo confirmed that Fidel is present in every achievement and result of the territory, from the health and sports indicators to the economic progress for which they are working.
