Those who carry out particular tasks are reminded that anyone who does not comply with the fiscal duty within the established term may receive a fine for late payment and the closure of their activity
Camagüey, Cuba, April 12th.- The Campaign for Declaration and Payment of taxes on personal income corresponding to 2023 currently has a considerable delay in the municipality of Camagüey.
Neisy Morales Blanco, director of the National Office of Tax Administration (ONAT) in the territory, said that nearly 3,800 taxpayers fulfilled this duty, only 36 percent of the potential.
This situation requires greater action from the depositaries who have not yet carried out the procedure, mainly self-employed workers, artists and the agricultural sector.
Although we have been working since the beginning of January to achieve compliance with this duty, neither the time nor the bonus for prompt payment or the use of electronic gateways are used adequately.
When there are only a few days left to conclude the voluntary period of the Affidavit Campaign, a call is made to carry out the procedure in time so as not to be declared omitted.
Those who carry out particular tasks are reminded that anyone who does not comply with the tax obligation within the established term may receive a fine for late payment and the closure of their activity.
