Camagüey, Cuba, February 9th.- The Municipal Directorate of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in Camagüey held an expanded plenary session with the objective of analyzing the Government’s projections to correct distortions and draw up strategies that support re-boosting the economy.
These meetings are held at the end of each quarter, so on this occasion it was extraordinary to outline the routes for work during 2024.
Several of the agreements that were made deal with the reinvigoration and strengthening of the work undertaken by the largest mass organization in the country in the provincial capital city.
Among the topics discussed are the deficiencies in the leadership team and the completion of the structure at the grassroots level, in addition to the importance of revolutionary popular surveillance in the face of the high incidence of illegalities that are registered in the region.
The expanded plenary session was attended by members of other organizations such as the Central Workers of Cuba, the Federation of Cuban Women, the National Association of Small Farmers, the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, also from the Administration Council of the territory and Some of the founding leaders of the CDR in Camagüey were invited.
