Camagüey, Cuba, February 1st.- With more than sixty works exhibited by students from thirty schools in the municipality, the Who Reads More Knows More contest took place.

Elsi Rodríguez Laffita, methodologist of the School Library of the Municipal Directorate of Education in Camagüey, said that this is an action that for years has sought to promote research in infants and the habit of reading from an early age.

He also commented that in the demarcation a group of actions are implemented to promote the exchange between students about Cuban and universal literature, as it contributes to the development of cognitive skills.

Nayeli González Díaz, fourth grade student at the Renato Guitar Rosell institution, expressed her admiration for the work of the writer Dora Alonso, owner of texts that are a delight for the imagination.

The author of The Blue Coachman and The Valley of Pájara Pinta also motivated Laura Mariel McPias, she is in sixth grade at the Josué País García primary school, in the princely city, and invited the other children to enter the fascinating world of letters.
