The context of the activities for the anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution will be conducive to recognizing outstanding leaders of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution in the Ciudad de los Tinajones
Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 19th.- The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR, Spanish Acronym) of the municipality are preparing an extensive program of activities to commemorate the advent of the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, next January 1st.
Among these actions are the beautification of neighborhoods, the strengthening of base structures, as well as the flagging of surveillance detachments, called to preserve order and tranquility in the neighborhoods and confront crimes.
From the area of Culture, the CDRs carry out the Amateur Artists Festival to promote the development of artistic skills in the communities, highlights Laura Millian Francis, coordinator of the organization in the region.
The bulk of the activities will take place in the popular councils of Buenos Aires-Bella Vista, América Latina, La Belén, and in rural areas, which will also include specialists from the Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER, Spanish Acronym ).
