Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 4th.- Under the motto Camagüey, orgullo que nos define, in the Cuban Ciudad de los Tinajones the campaign continues for the 510th anniversary of the former town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe, current capital of Camagüey.

The initiative is dedicated to the inhabitants of the city and among its purposes is to strengthen human values such as industriousness, solidarity and responsibility for the common well-being.

According to Mailet Padilla, head of the Communication Department of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey, there is already a musical theme alluding to the celebration, a photographic exhibition was inaugurated, allegorical billboards have been placed and other work continues.
