More than 5,500 families are protected by Social Assistance with temporary monetary benefits and various resources and another 2,600 people benefit from food services
Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 30th.- The Municipal Directorate of Labor and Social Security reinforces actions for prioritized attention to communities, groups, families, households and people in vulnerable situations.
In the territory, more than 15 thousand people from Camagüey are assisted, among them minors at risk, disconnected from studies, demographic policy, sanctioned, people with disabilities and beneficiaries of the Family Care System.
The work carried out allowed the incorporation into employment of nearly 500 men and women, 25 young people received improvement courses and nearly 70 places in day care centers were granted to link mothers to work.

The work of the social workers of the Ciudad de los Tinajones facilitated the granting of subsidies for the construction and rehabilitation of homes, the incorporation of older adults into the municipality’s Home for the Elderly and homeless people into the Social Protection Center, among other results.
