Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 20th.- The workers of the National Office for the Rational Use of Energy (ONURE, Spanish Acronym), in Camagüey, intensify the control of the electrical current used daily.

In the Camagüey territory there are 73 centers classified as high consumers that cover 184 services, of which a permanent check of spending is carried out, both during peak and total hours.

Mariesly Martínez, main specialist in Normalization and Energy Efficiency of the entity, said that if there is an overdraft in the plan, it is analyzed in the energy councils and the provisions established in this regard are applied.

249 self-employed workers, selected taking into account the extensive activity they carry out, are also constantly inspected to monitor energy consumption.

Based on the call made by ONURE specialists to contribute to savings, the TCPs have taken the step forward and this is evident in the decrease in spending from one month to the next.

Likewise, they have been called to join the project related to the use of renewable energy sources, to which the Bidi Way and 881 restaurants have already joined.
