Ernesto Cedeño Rodríguez, Cuban Vice Minister of Industries, exchanged with the delegates about the work they do to promote national productions and the alternatives that are taken in order to counteract the difficulties that arise on the international stage
Camagüey, Cuba, October 17th.- The Municipal Assembly of People’s Power held an extraordinary session to analyze the accountability report of the Ministry of Industries.
At the meeting, the management of the sector was analyzed based on the data presented by the provincial coordinator Alex Rodríguez Gregorich prior to the accountability before the National Assembly that will take place in the month of December.
In his speech, the director pointed out the role of the Ministry as rector of projects aimed at the industrial development of Camagüey and the entire country, and the local management carried out in the last period.

He discussed topics such as the need to achieve a true link between the socialist state company and the new economic actors, who today have a strong presence in internal trade, to meet the needs of the population.
In this process of accountability, the representatives of the different constituencies that make up the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power raised with the officials and directors’ concerns of the population regarding the complex energy situation that the country is going through, the production of oxygen for hospital centers and the collection activity of the Raw Materials Base Business Units in the demarcation.
In that sense, Cedeño Rodríguez highlighted the role of recycling in import substitution and the benefits it brings to continue the progress of companies.
The extraordinary session of the Municipal Assembly in Camagüey also had the presence of Camagüey deputies to Parliament, representatives of the Government and managers of the analyzed sector.
With the final words of this meeting, Dixami Rodríguez Gómez, president of the Government body, emphasized the importance of the accountability of officials and organizations as an essential element to assess the progress of the management of the institutions and respond to the concerns of the citizens.
