Artists from the Palmas y Cañas program on tour through Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, October 17th.- Members of the artistic cast of the peasant program Palmas y Cañas performed in the community of Altagracia, in the capital of Camagüey, as part of their tour of the region.

Damiurka Rodríguez Izaguirre, highest representative of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP, Spanish Acronym) in the municipality, said that the activity was carried out in that settlement taking into account that it is a popular council of reference in food production.

The Victoria de Girón Agricultural Production Cooperative and the Pino Tres and Antonio Suárez Credit and Services Cooperative are located there, whose groups strive every day to increase the delivery of food to the people.
