Literary Crusade will be held in Camagüey on its 20th anniversary

Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 8th- Between August 9 and 13, the Literary Crusade will be held in the province 20 years after its first edition, one of the main events organized by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS, Spanish Acronym) in the territory.

Xavier Guerra, president of the Camagüey branch, said at a press conference that young artists and writers will arrive, together with founders of the Crusade, to municipalities such as Minas, Nuevitas and Florida, and to various workplaces in the Ciudad de los Tinajones.

He specified that it is a space where the different manifestations of art come together, especially the musical downloads and the readings that will be carried out on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and the 66th anniversary of the assassination of the Luis brothers and Sergio Saíz.

Sponsored by the Provincial Center of Books and Literature Enrique José Varona from Camagüey, the Andariega event of letters invites local families to share in the different spaces with the authors to together keep reading among the tastes of the locals.

August returns to dye the plain of Camagüey with literature, for 20 years the Literary Crusade has established itself as a stage for the writer-public relationship to be strengthened from the respect that the manifestation deserves in the land where the history of Cuban letters began to be traced.
