The Blind’s National Association is celebrating its anniversary in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, Jul 11.- From July 2nd to 19th, the day for the anniversary of the constitution of the Blind´s National Association (ANCI, Spanish Acronym) is celebrated in Cuba.

Founded in the province and the municipality of Camagüey on July 2nd in the years 1978 and 1979 respectively. To celebrate this new year of creation from the city of Camagüey, various activities are prepared for blind and low vision people.

On the 12th, the Museo Casa Natal Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz will be the scene -at 10:00 in the morning- of a cultural activity dedicated to associates and family members.

On the 18th and 21st, those who are members of ANCI in the Ciudad de los Tinajones will be able to enjoy the screening of the Spanish films with audio description; Ocho Apellidos Vascos, Los abrazos rotos, El hombre de las mil caras y La corona partida, which can be seen for free at the Audiovisual Complex Nuevo Mundo.

A sports tourism club is the option for next July 19th, regarding this activity the president of the organization in the main city, Teresa Malpica Fonseca, pointed out that they intend to develop it in the Casino Campestre park.

The program to commemorate the anniversary day of the constitution of the Blind´s National Association of the in the municipality of Camagüey is also part of the summer activities prepared by the organization that includes a segment of people with disabilities.
