Camagüey, Cuba, February 2th.- The application of new technologies in the safeguarding and promotion of heritage constituted the main axis of the XVI International Symposium on Challenges in the Management and Management of Cities, hence views from multiple latitudes converged in the region during two days.

Several exchanges, conferences, commission work and more took place at the Santa Cecilia Convention Center, always focused on bringing together all forms to fulfill the social responsibility of ensuring the future of nations.

With the conference The role of Artificial Intelligence in the Management of Heritage Cities, by Doctor of Science Julio César Madera Quintana, first vice chancellor of the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, the event began on its closing date.

The topic Technology based on heritage as a driver of development was also presented, by José Ángel Yañez Reyes, president of Inmersoft SURL of Santiago de Cuba; and Process of preparing the catalog of cultural, creative and community tourism in Mexico City, led by Martha María Latapí Artigas, UNESCO Consultant in the Aztec nation.

In these topics, the different paths that open up for the management of cities through the use of new technologies were glimpsed, with the possibility of energizing and enhancing the development of historical resources.
