Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 17th.- Given the occurrence of rains that can be intense and moderate in a large part of the territory, surveillance of the reservoirs and main river basins is maintained, said Leonardo Soto Romero through the social network Facebook.

“Given the developing hydrometeorological situation, we inform the population that the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INRH, Spanish Acronym) in the province maintains permanent monitoring through the Early Warning System”, wrote the provincial director of the INRH.

And he added: “In the last few hours the most significant rains have been reported in the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes municipality, with 67 millimeters (mm); and Santa Cruz del Sur with 42 mm. The stations located north of the provincial capital report minimum levels, the highest of 6.7 mm. We remain vigilant”.
