Camagüey federated women debate with a critical and innovative sense

Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 9th.- Chaired by Teresa Amarelle Boué, member of the Political Bureau and general secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), the provincial assembly XI Congress of the women’s organization brings together 175 delegates today in Camagüey to debate and reflect on their work in the last five years with a meaning critical and innovative.

At the opening of the plenary session, the victors of impossible things from the land of Agramonte recounted their work as heroines of complex times in which steps of progress have been consolidated in the cadre policy, in the care and social reintegration of adolescents and young people with behavioral problems, the connection with children’s homes without family protection and the prominence of the volunteer executors in the Educate your Child Program.

Regarding the deficiencies in confronting social indiscipline, the people of Camagüey also exchanged information, and in that sense, the grassroots leaders emphasized the need to be more concerned about the acts of crime, corruption and illegalities that occur at the community level, fundamentally. in those places identified as prone by the Ministry of the Interior (Minint, Spanish Acronym).

Towards the educational sector, stated Amarelle Boué, we must give it a different look, since the mission is in our hands to knock on the doors of retired teachers so that they rejoin the sector and thus improve teaching coverage in the most deficient municipalities.
