Evelio Agustín: a renowned Camagüey innovator

Camagüey, Cuba, October 22th.- Evelio Agustín Piloto Marín is an outstanding innovator from Camagüey who dedicated more than 50 years to the search for solutions to problems presented in the different centers in which he worked.

His research life began in the early 1970s at the 26 de Julio Cement Factory in Nuevitas, where he developed part of his creative activity.

After returning to Cuba after studying at the Institute of Machinery Construction in the former Soviet Union, he was part of the Railway Workshops group in Camagüey.
