Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 3rd.- With nearly 50 hectares in operation, on the Los Viera farm, of the Renato Guitar Credit and Services Cooperative of the municipality of Camagüey, the planting of different crops is promoted during the current cold season.
Under Decree Law 259, which authorizes the delivery of idle state lands as usufruct, the farmer Jorge Viera Manso diversifies his productions to comply with the deliveries of food, grains, vegetables and fruits to the collection system, social consumption and institutions of the territory.
Agricultural work focuses on the planting of cassava, banana, sweet potato, beans, tomato and pepper, while in terms of fruits it ventures into mango, lemon, and guava by cutting.
