Camagüey, Cuba, Sep 22th.- The Movimiento Juvenil Martiano of the province of Camagüey is part of the program of activities carried out in the territory by the Union of Young Communists (UJC, Spanish Acronym) to celebrate its upcoming XII Congress.

From its structures in all municipalities, the movement is also part of the Youth Zone, an action led by the UJC where exchanges, educational talks and debates are held with students and the general population from the neighborhoods.

In addition, they continue the development of projects such as Cuba in my backpack, which has the premise of reinforcing knowledge of the History of Cuba and national identity through exchange with adolescents and young people.

On this topic, Dania Díaz, president of the Movimiento Juvenil Martiano in the province, pointed out that they intend to establish an intergenerational dialogue where issues related to historical events are put in context; talks that will take place in collaboration with the José Martí Cultural Society.

He also highlighted that at this time the movement is engaged in a process of strengthening its smaller cells from the municipalities to aim for a better functioning of the organization throughout the Camagüey territory.
