Camagüey, Cuba, March 20th.- The work of the Retail, Water and Sewage Company and Community Services occupied most of the meeting of the Temporary Government Working Group in the municipality.
Katia Reynoso Gallo, vice mayor in charge of Commerce activity, explained that products from the basic basket for the month of March such as rice, beans and salt are currently being distributed; and that only seventy wineries in the territory remain to receive them.
The situation regarding the water supply to the city and rural communities was evaluated in depth, both through the network system and through pipes, the cleaning of pits and obstructions, in addition to the collection of solid waste and elimination of micro landfills.
In this regard, Yoandrys Ruiz Villalón, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Camagüey, called on the directorates of Aqueduct and Sewerage and Communal Services to make a schedule of their tasks to gain organization, control and quality.
The Temporary Working Group in the princely city also analyzed the operation of the Creole food preparation centers and the Camagüeyan Nights, activities that require greater attention from the different entities, mainly those belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture.
