Edition of the Challenges in the Management and Management of Cities Symposium will return to Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, January 31th.- The conference by Anne Lemaistre, representative and director of the UNESCO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, represents one of the most important moments of the opening day of the XVI Symposium on Management Challenges and City Management.

With an opening date agreed for this February 1st, the event organized by the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey (OHCC), celebrates the 510th anniversary of the founding of the former town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe from the investigation and promotion of actions for their care.

Some of the topics that will be present at the Symposium, reported by the Organizing Committee, will be the Challenges of implementing the new legal framework for the protection of cultural heritage and the Process of preparing the catalog of cultural, creative and community tourism.

Also, technology based on heritage as a driver of development and the presentation of the comprehensive development plan for the World Cultural Heritage area of the historic center of Camagüey.
