Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 13th.- To comply with the community transformation policies in the municipality, 53 districts in a vulnerable situation are identified.
According to the Directorate of Labor and Social Security, there are currently 11 districts in development: they are 2, 24, 34, 38, 60, 119, 138, 140, 143, 149 and 160.
The source itself also specifies that with the work carried out, a total of 1,293 family units have emerged from vulnerability to date, with 5,112 people benefiting.
The budget allocated to the prevention, assistance and social work program until the end of October amounted to more than 369 million pesos.
With that amount, more than 4,900 items were purchased in the capital of Camagüey, including beds, mattresses, sheets, towels, and dining room and living room sets.
