Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 13th.- With the presentation of several recently published texts in which important passages of the Cuban epic are presented, the Reading the History day will take place in the territory.
Organized by the local branch of the National Union of Historians and the Enrique José Varona Provincial Book and Literature Center of Camagüey, the event has the purpose of promoting exchange with new generations about the future of the largest of the Antilles.
Adys will arrive at educational and work centers, in addition to literary spaces. Cupull Reyes, Floirán González García and the National History Prize winner Pedro Pablo Rodríguez, who will star this morning in the panel José Martí in Julio Antonio Mella and in Ernesto Che Guevara.
Until the next day the 16th, conferences such as The 150th anniversary of the presence of Máximo Gómez in Camagüey, Protagonism of Cuban women in the national struggle, Social criticism in the thought of José Antonio Saco and La Cultura will take place in the Ciudad de los Tinajones.
These activities will feature performances by local troubadours and musicians, as well as members of the Golpe a Golpe Project, with the aim of making the event moments in which art is exalted in all its manifestations.
