Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 26th.- With multiple health promotion and training actions in key populations to avoid new infections with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), the Provincial Day will take place in the coming days for the date.

Regarding December 1st, World Day of Expanded Response to HIV/AIDS, activists and specialists from Camagüey will concentrate their efforts in the health area. This is where the greatest growth of the disease has occurred in recent months.

Niurka Rosales, coordinator of the Cuba+ Network, commented that there will be spaces for adolescents and young people because the greatest increases in infections are seen today in those population segments.

It begins now, said Niurka Rosales, it is the call to the community to achieve a higher quality of life, the reduction of deaths due to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and achieve the proposed health goals until 2030.
