Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 17th.- On the occasion of the 186th anniversary of the railways in Cuba, the Railway Museum of the city of Camagüey will develop a cultural activity in tribute to the date.

At 10:00 in the morning on Saturday, November 18th, workers in the sector along with their families, as well as the people in general, will be able to go to the institution in charge of protecting and disseminating the territory’s railway heritage, to celebrate those who dedicate their lives to it. to the sector.

The museum develops several activities that promote knowledge of the vast history of the Camagüey iron road, as Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe is one of the pioneer cities in this type of transportation, thanks to the efforts of Gaspar Cisneros Betancourt, El Lugareño.
