The Provincial Tourism Company of Camagüey City has accommodation, gastronomy, recreation, transportation and commercial services facilities in the historic center of the city
Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 10th.- The Provincial Tourism Company of Ciudad Santa María, of Camagüey, satisfactorily concluded its participation in the XXXIX International Fair of Havana (Fihav, Spanish Acronym), which takes place from last Monday until this Saturday in the capital of the country.
Carmen Hernández Requejo, general director of the Camagüey collective, explained that among the main results were the negotiation of letters of intent for two possible foreign investment projects, an aspect that constitutes one of the main objectives of the meeting.
Likewise, they held conversations with commercial directors of important companies to update and diversify the supplier portfolio.
In this sense, the exchanges with representatives of Habanos SA, the Levaduras y Fermentos (LEFERSA, Spanish Acronym) plant, the Boga and Gráfica Textile Clothing Companies of Ciego de Ávila, the Baracoa Chocolate Factory, and wine producers from Cienfuegos and Sancti stood out.
Also, with a view to positioning the tourism product of Santa María, links were expanded with the Ministry of Tourism for the presentation of proposals to travel agencies for marketing in Cuba and abroad.
The main challenge of the Provincial Tourism Company of Camagüey City, after its intervention at the XXXIX International Fair of Havana, is the materialization of the agreements reached there, with the incentive of celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the entity, which has accommodation, gastronomy, recreation, transportation and commercial services facilities in the historic center of the city.
