Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 10th.- Even in the midst of the existing limitations with essential resources in the municipality, work is undertaken with the purpose of improving and expanding the housing fund.
Iyosvanys Hernández Acebedo, director of Housing in the capital of Camagüey, said that until the end of October, a total of 94 houses had been completed in the territory, both by the state and by their own efforts.
49 home rehabilitations were completed, 54 floors of dirt were eradicated and 14 construction actions were completed in high-rise buildings to repair networks, pumping equipment and cistern cleaning.
Work was also carried out on three sanitary networks in quarters affected by obstructions, 21 shorings and demolition of homes that were damaged by the intense rains were carried out.
