Camagüey, Cuba, October 29th.- With the premise that leads the XI Congress «Cuban women, winners of impossible things» the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC, Spanish Acronym) of the capital of Camagüey developed the Balance Assembly prior to the national event.

During the session, the delegates exercised their right to vote for the 35 proposals to join the Municipal Committee, in the same way the 53 delegates to the Provincial Assembly and the 14 candidates for the FMC Congress were announced.

Yuneisy Caballero Álvarez, confirmed as secretary of the organization in the territory, presented the report with the analysis of the work of that structure and the points that need to be strengthened.

Topics such as social indiscipline, the prevention of teenage pregnancy and work in the communities were among the most discussed by the federated members in the assembly and from previous instances.

The event was headed by Teresa Amarelle Boué, general secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women, who stressed that all analyzes must start from the base because at that level one can intervene in the solution of social difficulties in the communities.

Amarelle Boué also referred to the importance of the work carried out by creative women and the potential that exists in the region in crafts and crafts.

The XI Congress Balance Assembly of the municipality of Camagüey was attended by the main authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba and the Government in the territory, as well as leaders of the FMC.

In his speech, Federico Hernández Hernández, first secretary of the Party in the province, congratulated the women for their active and outstanding contribution to the development of the land of Ignacio Agramonte from all sectors of society.

The meeting was conducive to the denunciation by the Camagüey women of the Israeli aggression against the people of Palestine, in addition to the tribute to the Lord of the Vanguard, Camilo Cienfuegos, 64 years after his physical disappearance.
