Camagüey, Cuba, October 24th.- The Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa, Spanish Acronym) in Camagüey undertakes maintenance actions and improvements of services in segments of the historic center of the Camagüey capital, in greeting to the 510th anniversary of the founding of the former town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe.

Luel García Lorenzo, director of the aforementioned entity, highlighted the attention to the cable networks in six main arteries, including Ignacio Agramonte, República and Independencia, where a digital transformation is being carried out with the intervention of several organizations.

The improvement of infrastructure, he said, will allow better connectivity for users in those areas and highlighted the beautification of the Avellaneda Commercial Office and the Multiservice Center on Ignacio Agramonte Street.

He added that the installation of two hundred new landline telephone services has an impact on the quality of life of several users and work is being done to increase capacities and radio bases in salute to the founding of the city.
