Camagüey, Cuba, Oct 16th.- The emerging training of journalists and a review of the career study plan to once again strengthen and increase class hours in fundamental subjects are today concerns of the union in the province.
Specialties such as Grammar, Literature and Political Economy, among others, require greater presence in the training of professionals, agreed in the meeting held between delegates and guests from Camagüey to the XI Congress of the Union of Journalists of Cuba and professors and students of the career of Journalism from the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz.
At the meeting, the master of sciences Dayneris Maxan, head of the program, presented strengths and weaknesses that today accompany the training of journalists in the local house of higher education and that could be a topic of debate at the University.
As a concern, it was confirmed that the University College of Journalism cannot be the only access route to study the career, in addition to perfecting the development of work practices in the media of Camagüey, Ciego de Ávila and Las Tunas.
