Camagüey, Cuba, October 13th.- The National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP, Spanish Acronym), in the municipality, is working to successfully implement Resolution No.111, of 2023, related to banking.
Damiurka Rodríguez Izaguirre, its president in the territory, said that, first, all the presidents of the boards of directors and of the grassroots organizations and their members were trained.
Subsequently, the seminars were given in the 25 Credit and Services and Agricultural Production Cooperatives of the district with the attendance of each of their members.
In these meetings, the specialists from Banco Popular de Ahorro explained everything that is provided for in this ordinance and clarified different doubts and concerns regarding the peasants.
The ANAP in the capital of Camagüey has the privilege of having the first cooperative, the 24 de Febrero, which began to apply everything that has to do with banking in the country.
