Camagüey, Cuba, October 3rd.- With the presentation of 975 students to the Higher Education entrance exams, scheduled for October 3, 6 and 12, Camagüey aspires to improve the 62.8 percent pass rate achieved during the 2022-2023 school year.

Although the result exceeded the 59 percent average recorded in the country, the objective is to ensure that applicants from the 26 pre-university institutes in the province obtain the qualifications required by the places plan, which includes more than three thousand offers, among those that highlight careers in medical and pedagogical sciences, said Miguel Zayas Feteira, head of that educational level in the General Directorate of Education.

At the Enrique Hart Dávalos Urban Pre-University Institute (IPU), said María Eugenia Navarro López, director of that school, 33 students complete their preparation through teleclasses and reviews, and parent meetings are held to analyze the difficulties presented by the students. students.

Consuelo Mayda Navarro Adán, Spanish-Literature teacher, commented that they have reinforced the contents of grammar, comprehension, lexicon, spelling and writing, while at the same time they guide tasks, apply verification questions and entrance exams from previous school years.
