Government in Camagüey analyzes issues of economic and social interest

Camagüey, Cuba, Sep 7th.- The Council of the Municipal Administration of Camagüey in the first meeting corresponding to this month, evaluated various issues of economic and social interest in the territory.

The agenda included an analysis of the results of the past school year and the satisfactory start of the current calendar, with the opening of the 177 planned centers and an enrollment of more than 48,000 students.

The members of the administrative body also learned that a total of 957 students graduated this year as mid-level technicians and skilled workers in the territory and that all of them received job placement after implementing various actions.

At the meeting, the Directorate of Finance and Prices presented a report on accounts receivable and payable, in which the Commerce companies and Triángulo Tres Livestock have an impact, in addition to the Collection Base Business Unit.

Another of the topics discussed was the behavior of the Maternal and Child Program, where the territory, at the end of August, reports a mortality rate of 11.3 deaths for every thousand children under one year of age born alive.
