Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 26th.- Nearly 3,400 hectares were planted for food in the provincial capital in the current spring campaign, which began in March.

When the activity was checked by the authorities of the main municipality, it was learned that the task is running at 93 percent so far, according to the Delegation of Agriculture in the territory.

The source itself said that the Livestock Company Triángulo Tres has planted close to 1,900 hectares, the Agropecuaria Camagüey 1,500 and the Ganadera 33.

The meeting also evaluated the progress of the meat delivery plan to the industry corresponding to the current month, of which around 100 tons have been fulfilled so far.

In order to be able to fulfill the commitment, they insisted on how important it is to maintain strict control over the livestock mass, which will avoid losses due to theft and illegal slaughter and diversion to other territories.
