Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 12th.- Nearly 340 people residing in the capital of Camagüey have attended the Government’s Office of Attention to the Population in the months elapsed of this calendar.
A report from the Commission of Local Organs of People’s Power specifies that it is necessary to improve the functioning of that department of the Administration Council for a better performance.
The entities with the greatest number of concerns are Housing, Labor and Social Security, Aqueduct, Territorial Planning and Urbanism, Public Health, Commerce, the Electric Company and Community Services.
The main complaints have to do with effects on the housing fund due to meteorological phenomena and delays in legal procedures, economic benefits and delivery of social assistance resources to vulnerable cases, among others.
Attention to the population in the capital of Camagüey requires better preparation of the officials in charge of the task and greater agility in the responses and solution of the problems raised.
