Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 7th.- More than 150 courses, linked to training actions in trades, socio-productive and service skills, and language learning, with an emphasis on French, English and Portuguese are developed by Polytechnic, Youth and Adults Education during the summer season in Camagüey.
Arquímedes Malpica Mederos, head of the Department of Specialized Activities in the General Directorate of Education, specified that these offers are joined by other initiatives in which those interested can develop crafts, work with natural materials, make and use puppets, in addition to the art creation and appreciation workshops.
With the purpose of guaranteeing recreation and healthy recreation this Summer with love, he commented that more than 90 centers and 20 pioneering facilities are enabled, in which technologies and other educational resources are used for the enjoyment of video games and sports and cultural activities.

He also highlighted that a number of more than 40 schools continue to operate, in order to educate students as producers and fully exploit the potential for promoting different crops as part of the province’s efforts to contribute to food sovereignty and nutrition education.
Likewise, visits to historical places, attention to plaques and monuments, excursions along historical routes, symbolic assaults, visits to museums, commented readings, book presentations, among other summer options, are promoted.
As every year, he recognized, the alliances of the educational sector with student and mass organizations, the Union of Young Communists (Union de Jóvenes Comunistas, UJC, Spanish Acronym) and the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade, which together with other institutions in the demarcation ensure the development of attractive proposals that satisfy the preferences of the new generations.
