The holding of a Gender and Communication event and the Press Festival in the demarcation are announced, both planned for the coming month of September
Camagüey, Cuba, Jul 20th.- The program of activities prepared in Camagüey for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC Spanish Acronym) will continue its development until the end of the current calendar.
The president of the organization in the province, Yurislenia Pardo Ortega, said that after the act for the anniversary carried out on the 15th, other actions are planned for the enjoyment of the union in the territory.
In this way, the realization of a Gender and Communication event and the Press Festival in the demarcation are announced, both projected for the coming month of September.
As part of the process called «The Experiment», a meeting is planned for October to discuss the management and economic model that is being tested in some of the country’s media, such as Radio Florida.
For November, an exchange on the economy, the beautification of a historical monument of the town, the activity in greeting to Student’s Day as a way of serving young people and an investigative journalism workshop are organized.
An exchange with the winners of the Work of Life Rolando Ramírez and an artistic gala, where local artists and amateur journalists will come together, will put an end to the program of activities for the 60th anniversary of UPEC in Camagüey in December.
