Camagüey, Cuba, April 4th.- Maestro Reinaldo Echemendía Estrada, director of the Camagüey Folkloric Ballet, once again took the baton in his hands to celebrate through music, as he likes, his 50 years of artistic life.

On the morning of April 3, the Larios Gallery hosted a special presentation by the Chamber Orchestra of the princely city with works such as Little Night Serenade, by Mozart, and a composition by the Cuban Guido López Gavilán.

Cutumba Folkloric Ballet from Santiago de Cuba, a group with several years of work in the defense of the musical dance traditions of the Caribbean and Cuban popular culture.

Thus, rhythms and songs paraded along the stadium of the Camagüey coliseum in which the melting pot and wealth that make up the identity of the nation, always highly admired on a global level, are evident.

As part of the days of tribute to Maestro Reinaldo Echemendía Estrada, the Provincial Concert Band performed in Pablo Pildaín Park, right in front of the Principal Theater.

Under the baton of maestro Echemendía, a former member of this formation, the Band performed the pieces Poet Overture, Aldeano and JIT 38, accompanied by dance couples from the dance companies invited to the festivities.

This presentation constituted the show prior to the gala that took place at the Teatro Principal, where the Ballet Folklorico de Oriente took the stage and Fernando Boston Cobo, president of the Provincial Council of the Performing Arts in Santiago de Cuba, was recognized.
