Camagüey, Cuba, March 30th.- In a visit to the Cuban Post units in Camagüey, the vice president of that group at the national level, Ariel Santana Santiesteban, emphasized the importance of implementing measures for business improvement.

During his tour, he highlighted the commitment and dedication of workers in the postal sector, especially postmen, whose work is essential for the efficient operation of the service.

Santana Santiesteban was interested in local priorities, finances, service quality and the main concerns of both employees and customers, always looking for ways to improve overall performance.

He proposed strategies to achieve greater collaboration with entities of the Ministry of Communications and a more direct approach to the communities.

He also suggested looking for additional incentives for workers, beyond the delivery of equipment such as electric motors.

In terms of infrastructure, Jorge Carlos Jiménez Leiva, deputy director of the Cuban Postal Company in Camagüey, reported on the operation of four printing centers that benefit local companies, contributing to better financial and performance indicators.

The modernization of the sector also includes the acquisition of 45 new color laser printers and the future installation of a printing center for the general public, with affordable prices and additional services such as laminating and binding.

This progress is aligned with the ongoing banking process, although challenges still remain, such as the lack of connectivity in some areas, which affects the full implementation of these services in the province.

With 80 percent of the units already banked, work is being done to overcome these obstacles and achieve full coverage.

During his tour of Camagüey, the vice president of the Correos de Cuba Business Group emphasized the importance of effective management and promptness in the execution of responsibilities. These principles, transmitted with conviction in each of the establishments visited, resonate as fundamental pillars for the evolution and the continuous progress of the entity.
