Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 23th.- From this December until next March, the Cuban Science Day will take place in the region, a time to recognize the results of the Camagüey scientific personnel.
Niurvis Orosio Suárez, subdelegate of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) of Camagüey, commented that the main objective of the day will be to highlight the work of research centers and their workers in the search for solutions to society’s problems and thus promoting economic development.
Workshop of scientific societies, events, exchanges on sustainable development and tours of some institutions make up the planned program, which also salutes the anniversary of the establishment of the National Union that brings together the union.
The official highlighted as a work strategy the link with new generations in order to promote good investigative practices from an early age.
