Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 11th.- From the Camagüey Press House, the specialized Communication and Heritage Circle presented the City Chronicles project, by Audiovisuales Príncipe of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey.

Jesmir Varona Socias, pointed out in the presentation that the objective is to collect in chronicles the daily development of the city, both the cultural activity and the life stories that we do not know about simple people who also have a lot to tell.

The chronicler mentions stories that have been in the local imagination for decades, such as that of the Chinese doctor, who she tells us arrived in Camagüey where he settled and cured the residents; others from people who were silent witnesses to relevant events until today.

These city chronicles are published daily on the website of the Historian’s Office, and can also be found on the municipal radio station Radio Camagüey, on Habana Radio, as well as some in audiovisual format on television, Varona Socias also reported.

The presentation was dedicated to the 206th anniversary of the granting of the city title to the town of Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe, which will be celebrated this November 12.
