Camagüey, Cuba, October 28th.- In this municipality, intense work is being done to increase food production and thus contribute to reducing the abusive prices that many merchandise acquired.

One of the tasks to materialize this purpose is to recover and build new livestock modules in all agricultural companies, base business units and cooperatives in the district.

The commitment in this sense is to enhance the existing 16 and set up another 17 with different species of animals, for example sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry and pigs, mainly dark-coated.

This includes, at the same time, promoting the planting of different foods, vegetables, grains and fruits such as banana, cassava, sweet potato, pumpkin and corn, among other varieties in high demand.
