People in Camagüey celebrate Agricultural Worker's Day in Camagüey

Camagüey, Cuba, October 4th.- The Villa Luisa farm, owned by Yolanda González and David Hernández, associated with the Renato Guitar Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS), in the capital of Camagüey, hosted the provincial event for Agricultural Worker’s Day, this October 3rd.

At the event, the Marcos Martí Distinction was awarded for maintaining 25 and 20 years in the sector to Leonardo Echeverría, Wilfredo Rubio, Alexis Galeano and Maritza Delgado; while Américo Otero, Danilo Leiva and Vivian Romero were recognized as integral workers.

Likewise, the Eighth of October Seal was placed in the hands of Daimir Rodríguez and Liván López, awarded by the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) to workers with outstanding careers, while Amado Casas and Magalis Cervantes were presented for remaining 50 years in the bouquet

The recognition for the Paths of Victory was granted to the Beekeeping Camagüey base business units, Complejo Parque Zoológico, Tienda El Ganadero and Frutas Selectas for their efficient results last year.

The highest authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Government, the Central Workers of Cuba, the National Association of Small Farmers and Agriculture, both from the province and the capital of Camagüey, were present at the event.
