Summer closes in the cradle of Cuban literature

Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 30th.- A pleasant literary and artistic program is proposed during the next few days by the Enrique José Varona Provincial Book and Literature Center to say goodbye to the summer stage of the current calendar.

On September 2nd, they will be together with the Golpe a Golpe Sociocultural Project in the community of San Serapio, there they will carry several titles published by Ácana Editorial and other producers in the country, as well as didactic and educational materials produced in the territory of Camagüey.

That same day will be held on Maceo street, in front of the Antonio Suárez Library Cultural Center, on Saturday’s Book with the presentation of the text Fidel, by Katiuska Blanco Castiñeira, a biography of the leader of the Cuban Revolution already recognized as essential material to meet one of the most decisive figures of the 20th century.

At night, Agramonte park will host the final edition of the Summer with Love activity, a space that brought together local authors and audiences, mainly children, during the months of July and August.

During the vacation stage, there were multiple activities organized by the Enrique José Varona Provincial Book and Literature Center of Camagüey for the enjoyment of families, with emphasis on the Old Friends Fair and the Literary Crusade, together with the local branch of the Asociación Hermanos Saíz.
