Camagüey, Cuba, Jul 19th.- As a musical gift for Camagüey families on the occasion of the National Rebellion Day, the Enrique José Varona Provincial Book and Literature Center and the Golpe a Golpe Sociocultural Project organized the tour of the D’Cuba group.
In the Rescate de Sanguily community, in the municipality of Jimaguayú, the first stage of the group’s tour will begin on July 19th, which will also arrive on the 20th and 21st to the town of Martí, in Guáimaro, and to Vertientes, respectively.
The concerts will be preceded by the presentation of the book by Nicolás Guillén, Cerebro y Corazón, one of the most recent productions of the local Editorial Ácana; they will be in charge of the writers Yoandra Santana and Mariela Pérez-Castro.
This tour will be an excellent opportunity to link artists and authors with the public, in addition to waiting for the commemoration of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on August 13th.
D’Cuba is a project founded in 2017 that fuses Cuban music with foreign rhythms such as country, jazz, indie, rock and roll and pop rock; ideal mixtures to season the reading with the appropriate melodies.
